Studio Uploader

Studio Uploader

A personal, single-user tool. It uploads its owner's own product videos to his own YouTube channel, and keeps their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and playlists up to date. It has no other users, offers no service to anyone else, and stores no one's data.

Owner and only userAcid Alchamy (acidalchamy.com), the operator of the YouTube channel youtube.com/@acidalchamy.
What it doesRenders short product-update videos about the owner's own software on a computer he owns, then, after he approves each one, uploads it to his channel and sets its metadata.
How it connectsThrough YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3), signed in with the owner's own Google Account via OAuth 2.0.
Who can sign inOnly the owner. There is no sign-up, no login page, no public interface and no way for anyone else to connect an account.
Data handlingNo personal data is collected, stored, shared or sold. The tool does not read anyone else's YouTube data. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

What the tool asks YouTube to do

Nothing runs unattended against YouTube: every upload follows an explicit approval by the owner on a private review page.

Where the code runs

On a single Mac mini in the owner's home. OAuth tokens are stored on that machine in a file readable only by the owner's account and are never transmitted anywhere except to Google's own OAuth and YouTube API endpoints.
