Terms of Service
Studio Uploader ("the tool") is a personal application written, operated and used solely by Acid Alchamy ("the owner", acidalchamy.com). These terms describe the conditions under which the tool exists. They are published because the tool uses YouTube API Services and because Google asks every API client to publish them; they do not create a service for anyone else.
1. No public service
The tool is not offered to the public. It has no customers, subscribers, accounts or users other than the owner. Nobody else may access it, and there is no interface through which anyone else could. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of software or services to any third party.
2. YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services and is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. Google's treatment of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The tool's own handling of data is described in its Privacy Policy.
The owner, as the only user, agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service when using the tool, and is responsible for every video the tool uploads to the owner's channel and for its compliance with YouTube's Community Guidelines and copyright rules.
3. What the tool may do on the owner's behalf
- Upload videos the owner has explicitly approved to the owner's own channel, as private or unlisted unless the owner has chosen a publish time.
- Set and update the title, description, tags, category, language, thumbnail and playlist membership of those videos.
- Read back the status of those videos and the identity of the signed-in channel.
The tool does not act on any other channel, does not interact with other users' content, and does not automate engagement of any kind (no comments, likes, subscriptions or views).
4. Authorisation and revocation
Access is granted by the owner through Google's OAuth 2.0 consent screen and may be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation immediately stops the tool from acting on the channel.
5. No warranty, no liability
The tool is provided as-is for the owner's personal use. Because it has no other users, no warranty is made to anyone and no liability is accepted towards anyone. Its operation may change or stop at any time without notice.
6. Changes
If the tool is ever made available to anyone other than the owner, these terms and the Privacy Policy will be rewritten before that happens.
